AMOURDARGENT GRADUATES IN STYLE

Uma Racing’s Amourdargent broke her maiden on her first start of 2021 and her first for her new connections and trainer Edouard Montfort. The daughter of Kendargent and Amorine was bred by the Haras de Saint Pair and raced in the stud’s colours at two finishing placed three times in four starts. She was sold at the Arqana December sale to Uma Racing for 26.000€.

Amourdargent looks to have a bright future as she improved significantly on her first start over 1950 metres coming from behind to beat Saint Pair’s Sub Sahara, trained by Jean Claude Rouget,  by 1/2 length. Amourdargent is the first foal of the Montjeu mare Amorine. Amorine won two of her three career starts for Saint Pair and trainer Francois Rohaut over 2100 and 2300 metres. She is a daughter of the Grade 1 winner Amorama and so a half sister to the Group 2 winner Ampere who was placed in the Group 1 Grand Prix de Paris over 2400. This is the family of Triptych and others champions. Amorine has a yearling filly by US Navy Flag, a colt foal by Siyouni and is in foal to Zelzal.
