CATMOVES TAKES ANOTHER STAKES RACE

Catmoves, a six year old Medicean mare bred at the Haras de Saint Pair, took her second Listed race in the last twelve months when winning the Grande Course de Haies de Cagnes on January 6. Catmoves started her racing career in the colours of Saint Pair and was sold to Jean Paul Galorini for 30,000 euros at the 2010 Arqana December sale.

Over the last twelve months Catmoves has won four races including two stakes races and is developing into a top class hurdler. Her overall career record now stands at 28 starts for five wins and 16 places and earnings of more than 265,000 euros, with around 212,000 euros since being offered for sale by Saint Pair in 2010. Saint Pair sold Catmoves’ dam, the Group placed  Listed winning Cadeaux Genereux mare Cattiva Generosa,  for 32,000 euros also at the 2010 Arqana December sale. Cattiva Generosa’s 2012 colt foal by Arcano was sold for 140,000 euros at the Goffs November sale. Saint Pair retained Casa Tua, a 2010 filly by Oasis Dream out of Cattiva Generosa, who is in training with Francois Rohaut.
