
INTEGRANT TAKES LISTED IN DEAUVILLE
Hisaaki Saito’s Integrant came from well off the pace to win the 1900 metre Listed Prix Lyphard in Deauville on November 23rd. The Henri Devin trained three year old son of Frankel was winning his third race in six career starts all as a three year old taking his earnings to 104.335€.
Integrant is the second foal and first winner produced by the Saint Pair mare Via Manzoni, a daughter of Monsun who won twice as a two year old and was Group placed at three. Top horses descended from Integrant’s second dam Via Milano include the Japanese Champion two year old and stallion at Shadai Farm and Arrowfield Stud Admire Mars, as well as the European Group 1 performers Via Ravenna and Via Pisa. He was sold as a yearling at the Tattersalls October 1 sale for 525.000gns to Sebastien Demontils’ Chavigny Global Equine.
Integrant becomes the fourth black type performer and third black type winner from the 14 foals bred by Saint Pair in 2018 who also include Group 2 winner Waldbiene, Listed winner Valloria and Group 2 placed Smile Makers. In the three crops 2016-2018 Saint Pair bred 34 foals who include eight Group or Listed winners including Glycon and Pearls Galore who are both Group 1 placed in 2021.
