KAPOUR STEPS UP

The Haras de Saint Pair’s Kapour confrimed that he is a three year old with a real future by finishing second, beaten only 1/2 length, in the Group 2 Prix Noailles at Longchamp on April 22nd.

Kapour had to make his own running but stayed on well when challenged in the straight and although passed by Tableaux he held off the other challenges to take second place. The son of Toylsome out of the Monsun mare Kitcat looks to take after his dam sire more than anything and is likely to improve again over a longer distance. Kapour could run in either the Deutsches Derby or the Grand Prix de Paris in July and in the mean time is likely to run at either Bordeaux or Royal Ascot. Kapour has three wins and a second place from four starts for earnings of 129,629 euros.

Kitcat has a two year old filly by Shamardal called Kitcara who is in training with Francois Rohaut, and a yearling filly by Dansili.
