KITKARMA QUICKENS CLEAR IN TIERCE
Kitkarma, a four year old Turtle Bowl filly bred and sold by the Haras de Saint Pair, was an impressive winner of the Prix du Chateau de Maisons-Laffitte over 1400 metres on Monday, April 10th. Owned by Alain Prudent and trained by Joel Boisnard, Kitkarma has won her last three starts to take her career record to three wins and three places from eight career starts and earnings of 84.200 euros.
This was the shortest distance Kitkarma has run over to date but the filly has plenty of speed and after travelling comfortably behind the leader she quickened into a clear lead to win comfortably.
Kitkarma is the fourth foal bred by Saint Pair out of her dam the Monsun mare Kitcat, and the fourth winner. Her earlier foals
included the Stakes winning and Group placed colt Kapour and the stakes placed filly Kitkatie. Kitcat has an Sharmadal two year old filly called Kitcarina, and yearling filly by Siyouni and a filly foal by Olympic Glory. She will visit Shalaa in 2017.
