MARBRE ROSE WINS STAKE AT GULFSTREAM

The Haras de Saint Pair and the Ecurie des Monceaux’s Marbre Rose gained her first black type victory in the 7 1/2 furlong South Beach Stakes at Gulfstream Park on December 13. Held up in third or fourth place the Christophe Clement trained filly quickened coming around the home turn and managed to get to the front in the straight and hold on for a 1/2 length victory. The three year old daughter of Smart Strike now has three wins and three places from nine career starts for earnings of $175.000.
