PORTHILLY ANOTHER STAKES WINNER SOLD BY SAINT PAIR

Porthilly became the latest stakes winner sold by the Haras de Saint Pair with an easy 2 length victory in a Listed race at Hoppegarten in mid August. The six year old Pivotal mare now has four wins and four places from 20 career starts including a second place in the Group 3 Prix Seine et Oise last October. The John Hammond trained mare recored her highest rating to date in Berlin of 103 and is likely to try Group races again over the coming months.

Like the Listed winning Group placed sprinter Love Spirit Porthilly was sold by Saint Pair as a yearling at the 2011 Arqana October sale. Love Spirit was sold for 16.000 euros, whereas Porthilly was knocked down to her trainer John Hammond for 80.000 euros.
