ROERO BACK ON FORM
The Haras de Saint Pair’s Roero made a winning seasonal reappearance at Chantilly on May 2. The six-year-old Acclamation gelding was running over only 1400 metres for the first time in years but still had too much speed and tenacity for his rivals, winning by a neck and a nose. Roero now has 10 wins and 8 places from 24 career starts and earnings of more than 400.000 euros.
Owned in partnership by Saint Pair and his trainer Francois Rohaut, Roero looks set for another good season and will be looking to win his first Group race in the coming months.
