The Haras de Saint Pair was the leading vendor at Arqana’s October yearling sale by average price and the seventh by aggregate. Saint Pair sold all six of its yearlings offered for a total of 882.500 euros and an average price of 147.083 euros.

The Lyon trainer Marc Pimbonnet bought two of the draft on behalf of the partnership between Fabrice Petit and Bruno Tissot. The yearlings who will go into training with Pimbonnet are the Frankel colt out of Pearly Shells, sold for 250.000 euros, and the Olympic Glory-Grand Vadla filly who made 65.000 euros. The Dark Angel colt out of Subrose was purchased by Oceanic Bloodstock on behalf of Peter Brandt and will go into training with Jean Claude Rouget. The Olmypic Glory filly out of Pearl Banks was purchased by Al Shaqab for 145.000 euros, the Lope de Vega colt out of Pearly Avenue by Crispin de Moubray on behalf of Malcolm Denmark for 72.500 euros, and the Le Havre colt out of Bugie d’Amore by Stephen Hillen for 50.000 euros on behalf of trainer Richard Hughes who alrdy has his half brother George of Hearts in his stable.
