TROIS LUNES DISAPPOINTS

The Haras de Saint Pair’s Trois Lunes never threatened to take part in the finish of the Prix de Diane won on Sunday June 17 by Valyra. Trois Lunes was very tense before the race and began to show signs of stress evening before going into the paddock. Reluctant to load into the stalls the daughter of Manduro then ran freely on the outside of the field before weakening quickly in the home straight. This was not her true form at all and trainer Francois Rohaut, whose other runner Rjwa finished an excellent third, will reassess future plans for Trois Lunes.
