TROIS LUNES IS BACK

AP&SP

The Haras de Saint Pair’s Trois Lunes finished third, beaten only 1 1/2 lengths and a short neck in the Group 2 Prix de la Nonette in Deauville on August 21.

The three year old daughter of Manduro followed the pacemaker through the early part of the race before going into the lead at the top of the straight. Passed by the winner, Romantica, a daughter of Galileo and the champion Bank’s Hill, and by Leaupartie the Francois Rohaut trained filly was fighting back and nearly got back up to be second.

A very promising run after a nearly a two month break and Trois Lunes should be ready for more Group success this autumn.
