ROERO STRIKES AGAIN

Roero held on bravely to win the Prix Defi du Galop-Dream Well at Clairefontaine on August 12. The Haras de Saint Pair’s son of Acclamation scored by 1/2 length to record his third win of the year. As a four year old Roero has run six times for three wins, two places and earnings of 142.460 euros. His career total is now six wins and five places for total earnings of 222.157 euros. The 1800 metre race was Roero’s first run and first win over more than a mile and the four year old gelding is still improving.

His dam Ricine’s only other foal is an unraced three year old Pivotal filly Porthilly who is in training with John Hammond.
