VADANOR WINS ANOTHER BIG HANDICAP FOR SAINT PAIR

Vadanor

Vadanor,a seven year old half brother to Vadamos by Selkirk, won the big handicap at Compiegne on June 13 over 1400 to record his most important victory in a career which has already included 56 starts over five seasons. To date Vadanor has 8 wins and 23 places and total earnings of 205.000 euros.

Like Vadamos, who is a dual Group 2 winner over 1600, Vadanor has turned out to be far faster than his pedigree suggested he would be. He broke his maiden over 2250 metres in the colours of the Haras de Saint Pair in 2012 and was sold at the Arqana Summer sale for 24.000 euros soon afterwards. Vadanor has developed into a tough handicapper over 1600 and now looks to have stepped up again when racing over 1400.

This was the second big handicap win of 2016 for a Saint Pair bred following Love Spirit’s Tierce win at Fontainebleau in March. Up to mid June Saint Pair breds have won 10 races in France and 414.000 euros in earnings.
