£4.5 MILLION FOR EISHIN FLASH

boot

Eishin Flash, the five year old son of King’s Best and Moonlady, took his career earnings to over £4.5 million with a decisive victory in the Group 1 Tenno Sho at Tokyo on October 28. Eishin Flash now has three wins and six places from 16 career starts and this was the colt’s second win at the highest level following his victory in the 2010 Tokyo Yushun, Japanese Derby.

Moonlady was sold by Loughbrown Stud, on behalf of the Haras de Saint Pair, carrying Eishin Flash for 300,000 guineas at the 2006 Tattersalls December sale.

The Haras de Saint Pair is offering Red Avis, a three year old half sister to Newfangled by Exceed And Excel at this year’s Arqana December sale. Newfangled was unbeaten and unextended in her two career starts this year including the Group 3 Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot before suffering a fatal injury when a short priced favourite for the Lowther Stakes. This is the close family of Flagbird, Little Belle, Prospector’s Delight and numerous other leading racemares and broodmares.
