A LISTED ON THE WAY TO FRANCE
SPINACRE was an impressive 2 1/4 length winner of the Listed Falme of Tara EBF Stakes at The Curragh on September 15. The grey two year old daughter of Verglas and Spinamix was winning her second race in four starts, but the first in the colours of the Ecurie La Boetie who purchased her privately and she will continue her career in the care of Pascal Bary with the Group 3 Prix des Reservoirs in Deauville on October 24 as a first likely target.
SPINACRE is fifth stakes horse produced by her dam and the sixth of her first seven foals to be rated higher than 90. The other stakes filly out of Spinamix is the Haras de Saint Pair’s SAN SICHARIA, a Group 3 winner over 1400 metres whose first foal is a yearling colt by Monsun. She also has a colt foal by Dansili and is in foal to Kendargent.
Spinamix was a very ordinary racehorse herself. After finishing fourth on her debut at Goodwood she was unplaced six times at two and three and was sold out of training for only 10,000 guineas. Her progeny have already earned more than £700,000 in prizemoney. She has an Invincible Spirit yearling filly.
