ADMIRE MARS IMPRESSES AGAIN

Admire Mars, Riichi Kondo’s two year Daiwa Major colt, was an impressive winner of his second start over 1600 at Chukyo on July 21st drawing away from his rivals to win easily by 3 lengths. The son of Via Medici is unbeaten in two starts and has earninhgs of 23.161.000 yen (178.000 euros).

Since being purchased from the Haras de Saint Pair by Northern Farm Via Medici has produced two foals of racing age, the dual winning three year old Dansili colt Freccia and Admire Mars. She has a yearling filly by Kinshasa No Kiseki and a filly foal by the Derby winner Duramente.

The Haras de Saint Pair has a Lope de Vega yearling colt out of Via Milano, and so a half brother to Via Medici,  as well as a yearling Lope de Vega filly out of the Monsun mare Via Manzoni who is  herself a half sister to Via Medici. Via Pisa, a Group 1 placed half sister to Admire Mars, has a colt foal by Vadamos and is in foal to Frankel.
