CLASSIC ENTRY FROM PEARLY SHELLS FAMILY

Podemos, a three year old Shamardal colt out of Pearls or Passion, was among the entries for the Prix du Jockey-Club and the Grand Prix de Paris. Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani’s colt is trained in England by Ralph Beckett and finished a promising second on his only start to date at Kempton last November.

Podemos is the first foal of Pearls or Passion, a daughter of Monsun and Pearly Shells who was bred and raced by the Haras de Saint Pair. Pearls or Passion was sold for 760.000 guineas at the 2013 Tattersalls December sale to Richard Knight Bloodstock. Pearls or Passion has a two year old Soldier Hollow filly in training with Andre Fabre and a yearling filly by Teofilo.
