DARK ORBIT IS 17TH SAINT PAIR BRED WINNER
Dark Orbit, a three year old Dark Angel gelding owned by Mme Jacques Cygler and trained by Herni Alex Pantall became the twenty fourth individal winner bred by the Haras de Saint Pair in 2015 when taing a 1400 conditions race at Le Mans on November 15th.
The Haras de Saint Pair covered only 15 mares in 2015, and yet the stud is the breeder of 24 runners in 2015 of whom 17 have won a total of 30 races in France, Germany, and Ireland and around 1.3 million euros. Haras de Saint Pair breds include the G2 winners Ampere and Vadamos, and the Listed winners Pearly Steph and Via Pisa, as well as Group/Stakes performers like Porthilly, Via Manzoni and Roero.
The winners include horses like Love Spirit (photo), sold by Saint Pair for 16.000 euros as a yearling at the Arqana October sale in 2014, and who now has 5 wins and 14 places for earnings of 148.000 euros. Or Vadanor, sold for 24.000 euros at the 2012 Arqana July sale who has five wins and 19 places since taking his earnings to 145.000 euros.
Dark Orbit, who now has one win and one place from only two career starts, was sold at the Arqana Saint Cloud Breeze Up in 2014 for 8.000 euros.
