DARLUX CONFIRMS PROMISE

The Haras de Saint Pair’s three year old Monsun colt Darlux got off the mark on his sixth career start with a comfortable 1 1/2 lengths victory at Mont-de-Marsan on September 14th. The son of Anna Pavlova now has one win and  four places from six career starts.

Darlux had finished third in Deauville over 3000 metres on his previous start, beaten by the stakes winner Biano Hope, and after this easy win over 2400 metres is likely to step back up in trip. The son of Monsun and the Group 2 winner Anna Pavlova will not have to improve a great deal more to become a stakes horse.

Darlux’s half brother by Shamardal will be offered by the Haras de Saint Pair at the Arqana October Yearling sale, lot 276.
