The fifth crop of the Haras d’Etreham’s stallion Elusive City are now two year olds, and they are first who were produced after Elusive Wave had become a Classic winner from his first. At the time he was standing at the Irish National Stud for 12,500 euros. This crop sold better as yearlings than the previous ones,  recording an average price of 30,000 guineas,  and they are already making a mark on the racecourse.

City Image, a filly out of a Clodovil mare, is unbeaten in two starts in England and the winner of a Listed race at Newmarket on June 30. Rapideur, a colt out of a Montjeu mare, won on his debut in France the same day, while the following day July 1,  the fillies Road Totsky, out of a Shirley Heights mare, and Punta Stella, out of a mare by Highest Honor, finished second and fourth in a Listed in Milan. Also in Italy the colt Starry Flag, out of a mare by Star Appeal, is unbeaten in two starts. Elusive City’s standing is likely to continue to rise as his first French crop, yearlings this year, were produced at a fee of 20,000 euros and the 76 listed on the France Galop website are out of an impressive collection of mares.

Saint Pair has supported Elusive City since his arrival in France breeding a two year old colt out of Indian Maiden, in training in Ireland, and a yearling filly and foal out of Squaw Dance.
