FRECCIA COMPLETES A HAT TRICK IN BRILLIANT STYLE

Freccia, a three year old Dansili colt out of Via Medici completed a hatrick of wins in brilliant style at Nakayama on Setpember 9th. Ridden by Christophe Lemaire Hashiguchi Co’s colt was blocked at a crucial moment of the race but once switched out of trouble quickened brilliantly to take the lead close home and win the 1600 handicap by 1/2 length. Freccia has won his last three starts and now has 3 wins, 1 second and 1 third from five career starts and earnings of $285.505.

Freccia was sold in utero by the Haras de Saint Pair at the 2014 Arqana December sale when his dam Via Medici was purcahsed by Narvick International for 480.000 euros in foal to Dansili. She has since produced the unbeaten 2018 two year old Daiwa Major colt Admire Mars and fillies by Kinshasa No Kisei an Duramente. A yearling half brother to Via Medici and the Group 1 performer Via Ravenna by Lope de Vega is entered in the Tattersalls October 2 yearling sale lot 823.
