In a very fast run race on good to firm ground he took up the running at the top of straight but was caught and passed close home by the five year old mare Velma Valentino to be beaten a short neck and with the remainder 2 lengths or more behind.
Glycon is the first stakes performer adn third winner produced by his dam the Singspiel mare Glorious Sight who has a two year old Dubawi filly in training with Chad Brown in the USA and a Siyouni filly foal. Rouget said he was very happy with Glycon’s performance. H expects the gelding to improve as he gains experience and will be better suited to easier ground.
