GYPSY GOLD STEPS UP
Gypsy Gold came from behind to win a Class 2 over 1850 metres at Vichy on September 25th, on her first run over further than 1600 metres. The three year old Siyouni filly trained by Jean Claude Rouget and ridden by Coralie Pacault was held up at the rear of the field and came with a strong run in the straight to pass her rivals and win comfortably by 1/4 length and a nose from Del Cielo and Bay d’Argent.
The daughter of Glorious Sight now has two wins and three places from six career starts. She is a full sister to the stakes performer Glaer and a half sister to Group 2 winner Glycon. Glorious Sight has Crimson Tide, and unraced two year old Le Havre filly in training with Pascal Bary for Al Shira’aa Farms a filly foal by Wootton Bassett and is in foal to Victor Ludorum.
