JIMMY TAKES A GROUP 1 PLACE
The Haras de Saint Pair’s Jimmy Two Times recovered from a slow start to record his first Group 1 place in the Prix Maurice de Gheest in Deauville on August 7th. The son of Kendargent was almost last with only 400 metres to run but showed a great turn of foot to finish well and take third place only 3/4 length and a neck behind Signs of Blessing.
The Andre Fabre trained colt now has 4 wins and 4 places from 9 starts and earnings of 283.000 euros. This year he has won the Group 3 Prix de la Porte Maillot and the Listed Prix Marchand d’Or, finished second in the Group 3 Prix Sigy, and now third in the Group 1 Prix Maurice de Gheest. He is likely to make his next start in the 1400 metres Group 1 Prix de la Foret at the Arc weekend.
