PEARLS GALORE SECOND IN IRISH GROUP RACE

Pearls Galore continued her progression in the hands of trainer Paddy Twomey with a second place in the Group 3 Fairy Bridge Stakes at Gowran Park in Ireland on September 2nd. After two easy wins in a maiden and a handicap the Haras de Saint Pair’s Invincible Spirit filly was stepping up to a Group race for the first time and ran with great credit to finish second 1/2 length behind Champers Elysees with the pair finishing 5 lengths clear of the remainder.

Pearls Galore is the third Group/stakes filly produced by her dam Pearls Banks after Pearly Steph and Lucky Lycra. Pearl Banks’ yearling filly by Dark Angel is Lot 183 in the Arqana September sale which runs from September 9-11. Pearls Galore is the fifth Group/stakes performer for Saint Pair in 2020 following Guildsman, Secret Advisor, Volfango and Glycon.
