RACING BACK ON MONDAY

After nearly two months racing will return in France on Monday, May 11th with cracking card from ParisLongchamp. The Haras de Saint Pair will return to the races on Tuesday, May 12th when Via Liguria, an unraced three year old Lope de Vega filly out of Via Manzoni is due to debut in the 1600 metre Prix Praline for trainer Jean Claude Rouget and jockey Cristian Demuro.

Via Liguria is the first foal of the Monsun mare Via Manzoni who was placed in the G3 Prix Vanteaux. Her second foal a Frankel colt Integrant is in training with Henri Francois Devin for Hisaaki Saito after being sold for 525.000 guineas at the Tattersalls October sale. She has a yearling colt by Siyouni and a filly foal by Shamardal. Via Manzoni is a half sister to Via Medici, the dam of the Japanese Champion Admire Mars, as well as to the G1 performer Via Ravenna.
