DO RE MI FA SOL NEW STAKES WINNER FOR WOOTTON BASSETT
Do Re Mi Fa Sol became the second stakes winner from the first crop of the Haras d’Etreham’s stallion Wootton Bassett when running out an easy 5 1/2 length winner of the Listed Prix du Grand Camp at Lyon on November 19th. The three year old filly is trained by Philippe Decouz for Ecurie Seyssel and the Haras de Saint-Voir and now has 3 wins and 5 places from 9 career starts and earnings of 123.000 euros. She was also third in the Group 2 Prix de Malleret in July.
Do Re Mi Fa Sol and Almanzor are two of the seven winners from Wootton Bassett’s first crop of only 17 foals. Almanzor is the winner of three Group 1 races, so far, and was named Europe’s champion three year old of 2016 earlier this month. The Haras de Saint Pair is a shareholder in Woottton Bassett and owns Dardiza, a half sister to the dam of Almanzor, who is currently in foal to Wootton Bassett.
