
SAINT PAIR BREDS IN DEMAND AT KEENELAND NOVEMBER
Two young Saint Pair breds were offered at the Keeneland November sale and both were bought by Irish based breeders and so are likely to return to Europe. Hip 618 Zoikes a four year old Dubawi mare out of Glorious Sight in foal for the first time to Medaglia d’Oro was sold to Jim Ryan, acting on behalf of John Kirkland, for $700.000. Zoikes was sold as a yearling by Saint Pair at Tattersalls October 1 for 450.000gns and was a winner at three in the US. She is a half sister to G2 winner Glycon and to Saint Pair’s two year old Siyouni filly Gypsy Gold, who is due to run at Chantilly next week. Her Le Havre 1/2 sister was sold to Al Shira’aa Farm for 600.000€ at the Arqana August sale. Saint Pair is breeding from Glorious Sight, who is in foal to Wootton Bassett, as well as her daughters Glad Eye and Girl Friday.
Hip 572 Isle of White, a daughter of Siyouni sold in foal to Raging Bull, was bought by Epona Bloodstock for $230.000. Isle of White is one of two winners produced by Dardiza who include the G3 winner Guildsman. Isle of White herself was a winner at three over 1200 at Belmont for Peter Brant and Chad Brown having been bought by Brant as a yearling at the Arqana August sale. Daridza’s Kingman yearling was bought by Oliver St Lawrence for 800.000€ at this year’s August sale. Dardiza is also in foal to Wootton Bassett.
