SOUS LA NEIGE WINS EASILY AT CHANTILLY
Sous La Neige broke his maiden with ease on his third career start at Chantilly on December 23rd. The Shalaa colt, owned and bred in partnership by the Haras de Saint Pair and Mme Elizabeth Fabre, was always prominent in the 1600 metre maiden and quickened away from his rivals in the straight to win unchallenged by 5 lengths.
The Andre Fabre trained colt had finished second on his two previous starts at Saint Cloud and Chantilly and looks likely to be a stakes performer in 202. He is the first of only two foals produced by the Shamardal mare Setsuko who has a colt foal by Oasis Dream. He was bought back at only 10.000€ at the Arqana August yearling sale. Setsuko was a half sister to the multiple Group winner Soleil Marin who was injured while in training with Andre Fabre and was never able to make a full recovery.
