SWORD MISS LOOKS GOOD ON DEBUT

Sword Miss, a two year old Mastercraftsman filly trained by Markus Klug for her owner breeder Gestut Wittekindshof made a very promising winning debut at Baden Baden on October 15th. Running very green during the first part of the Sword Miss finally understood what she was there for in the final stages and coming ba k on the bridle at the top of the straight she quickened past her rivals to win by 1/2 length and 1/2 length from two colts who had the benefit of a previous run.

Sword Miss is the fifth winner from five foals of racing âge produced by the G3 Preis der Winterkonigin winner Swordhalf. These include the young Saint Pair mare Satomi who is currently in foal for the first time to Lope de Vega.  The five year old Teofilo mare Satomi won three races including the G2 Hansa Preis in Hamburg.
