TRAIS FLUORS SECOND IN GROUP 1 PRIX JEAN PRAT
The Haras de Saint Pair’s Trais Fluors come from a long way off a slow early pace to take second place in the Group 1 Prix Jean Prat over a mile at Chantilly on Sunday July 9th. The Andre Fabre trained son of Dansili was held up in fourth place as Christophe Soumillon made the early running on Godolphin’s Thunder Snow. As the small field turned for home Vincent Cheminaud and Trais Fluors were some 4 lengths behind the leader.
In the straight Thunder Snow sprinted for the line, and although Trais Fluors closed to within 3/4 length he
never looked like making up the ground in time. Trais Fluors has four wins and a second place in five career starts and earnings of 185.000 euros. He is the first foal of his dam Trois Lunes who won the Group 3 Prix Vanteaux in the colours of Saint Pair. Trois Lunes has a colt foal by Kendargent.
