VADAVINA BREAKS MAIDEN IN STYLE

The Haras de Saint Pair’s Vadavina broke her maiden on her fourth career start with an easy 3 length victory over 1850 metres in Vichy on July 30th. The three year old daughter of New Approach and Celebre Vadala had been a promising second on her three year old reappearance at the beginning of the month at Aix Les Bains and stepped over a longer trip to confirm the progress she has made from two to three.

The Fabrice Vermeullen trained filly is a half sister to the Group 1 winner Vadamos and the Listed winner Volfango. Her dam Celebre Vadala has a yearling filly by Dubawi and is in foal to Dark Angel. Vadavina made most of the running under Alexandre Roussel and quickened away from her 13 rivals in the straight and is set to win more races over the coming months.
