VALLORIA WINS LISTED AT PARISLONGCHAMP
The Haras de Saint Pair’s Valloria recorded her first stakes victory at ParisLongchamp on June 13th making most of the running to win the Prix Volterra over 1600 metres by 3/4 length and 1 1/2 lengths from Dolia and Complication. The three year old daughter of Dubawi now has two wins and two places from five career starts and will be aimed at Group races in the future by her trainer Jean Claude Rouget.
After following the slow early pace set by Sky Sister Cristian Demuro sent Valloria into the lead after 600 metres of the race. The pair quickened brilliantly between the 400 and 200 metre mark to go into a decisive lead. The Aga Khan Dolia closed in the final 100 metres but finished 3/4 length behind Valloria.
Valloria is one of six winners produced by the Peintre Celebre mare Celebre Vadala, who was purchased from the Aga Khan Studs at Arqana in December 2008. She is the dam of the Group 1 winner and stallion Vadamos, as well as the multiple stakes winner Volfango and the dam of the Group winner Tornibush. Saint Pair has also retained her winning New Approach daughter Vadivina who was covered for the first time by Pinatubo in 2021.
