WAJNAH WINS HER LISTED
Wajnah, a four year old daughter of Redoute’s Choice, won her first black type race when coming from last place to lead close home and win the Prix Haras du Lion by a length at Lion d’Angers on June 17th over 2000 metres. Owned by Al Shaqab Racing and bred in partnership by her trainer Francois Rohaut and the Haras de Saint Pair Wajnah had finished fourth in the Group 1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches at three. She now has three wins and a second place from eight career starts and earnings of 121.000 euros.
Wajnah was offered by the Haras de Saint Pair at the 2015 Arqana October sale and sold for 260.000 euros to Mandore International acting for Al Shaqab. She is a half sister to the stakes fillies Baine and Bassamba and comes from the family of Anabaa.
