ANOTHER GROUP WINNER FOR GALIWAY

The Haras de la Gousserie’s three year old filly Showay won the Group 3 Prix Imprudence in Deauville on April 6th, becoming the eleventh Group/stakes winner from the first four crops of her sire Galiway. This was Showay’s eleventh start to date and she now has 3 wins and 7 places and earnings of 203.000€, after starting out in a claiming race over 1200 metres in May last year.

Galiwayis  a son of Galileo who stands at the Haras de Colleville and for his first four seasons was at only 3.000€ and yet these crops include the Group 1 winner and stallion Seaiway as well as a string of other high class performers on the flat and over jumps and the three year olds Showay and Listed winner Harry Way this year. Galiway’s two year olds of 2023 come from a 10.000€ fee and he has stood at 30.000€ in 2022 and 2023.

The Haras de Saint Pair has two Galiway foals, one out of the Group 3 winner Trois Lunes, and so a half sister to the multiple Group winner Trais Fluors, and the other one out of the Group 3 winner Pearl Banks and so a half sister to Group 1 winner Pearls Galore as well as to the Group stakes winners Lucky Lycra and Pearly Steph.
