ANOTHER WINNER FOR PEARL BANKS

The Haras de la Gousserie’s L’Ambassadeur broke his maiden at Evreux on April 12th, on his first start for new trainer Philippe Decouz. The three year old son of Shalaa and Pearl Banks becomes his dam’s six winner from seven foals of racing age, and her other winners do of course include the Group 1 winner Pearls Galore, the Group 3 winner Lucky Lycra and the stakes winner Pearly Steph. L’Ambassadeur was sold by Saint Pair as a yearling at the Arqana October sale.

Pearl Banks has a yearling filly by Kingman, a filly foal by Galiway and returns to Kingman in 2023. She is a Pivotal daughter of Saint Pair’s foundation mare Pearly Shells, the winner of the Group 1 Prix Vermeille. This is also the same female family as the Group 1 Classic winners St Mark’s Basilica, Magna Grecia.
