Godolphin’s Eternal Pearl won her fourth consecutive race and her third Group/Stakes win when coming from well off the pace to win the Group 3 Princess Royal Stakes at Newmarket on September 23rd. The Charlie Appleby trained filly now has 4 wins and two places in seven career starts and earnings of £150.000. The three year old Frankel filly is likely to make her next start in the Group 1 Fillies and Mares Championship at Ascot in October.
Eternal Pearl is the third foal and second winner produced by Pearly Steph, a stakes winning Oasis Dream mare. Eternal Pearl’s Le Havre half brother True Courage has won 5 races in Britain to date. Pearly Steph has a Belardo colt foal and is in foal to No Nay Never. She is a half sister to the Group 1 winner Pearls Gaore and to the Group 3 winner Lucky Lycra. Their dam the Group 3 winner Pearl Banks has a Kingman filly foal and is in foal to Galiway. The third dam Pearly Shells won the Group 1 Prix Vermeille for Saint Pair and her last foal is the unraced Anodin colt Pangaea in training with Richard Chotard.
