FRANK STELLA BREAKS MAIDEN WITH EASE

Frank Stella, a three year old son of Frankel and the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes winner Spain Burg broke his maiden at La Teste on September 3rd winning with ease by 2 1/2 lengths over 1600 metres. The Jean Claude Rouget trained colt has had a career interrupted by injury but now has a win and four places from five starts to date. He is likely to go for a classe 2 race in Paris next.

Frank Stella and his dam are owned by partnership by Saint Pair and White Birch Farm. Frank Stella is her first foal and first winner. Her yearling, a full brother to Frank Stella, was sold to Juddmonte Farms for 450.000€ at the Arqana August sale. She has a filly foal by Siyouni and is in foal to the Arc de Triomphe and Jockey Club winner Sottsass. Frank Stella is the eighth winner from ten foals bred and raised at Saint Pair in 2019 who include the Group/Stakes horses Eternal Pearl, Sicilian Defense and Green Fly.
