Freccia, a three year old Dansili colt out of Via Medici broke his maiden on his third start over 1600 at Nakayama on Saturday March 24th. The colt who was bred by Northern Farm and is owned by Hashiguchi Co Ltd and trained by Tetsuya Kimura won by 3 lengths and 2 1/2 lengths under jockey Christophe Lemaire.
Via Medici was sold by the Haras de Saint Pair in foal to Dansili for 480.000 euros at the 2014 Arqana December sale where she was bought by Emmanuel de Seroux of Narvick International on behalf of Northern Farm. Via Medici is now the dam of three winners including Via Pisa, a stakes winner and Group 1 placed, and Via Firenze, a stakes winner and multiple Group placed. She has a two year old colt by Daiwa Major, a yearling filly by Kinshasa No Kiseki and is in foal to Duramente.
