INTERGRANT PRESERVES HIS UNBEATEN RECORD
Hisaaki Saito’s Integrant came back from a four month break to win a Classe 1 at Saint Cloud over 2000 metres on July 9th and preserve his unbeaten record. The three year old son of Frankel and the Monsun mare Via Manzoni is trained by Henri Francis Devin and had made a winning debut at Chantilly in mid March but has been off the track since. In a slowly run race Maxime Guyon held up Intergrant behind his main rivals before quickening past them to win comfortably by 3/4 length from Leopards Park and Brok.
The son of Frankel was sold by the Haras de Saint Pair at the Tattersalls October 1 sale to Chauvigny Global Equine for 525.000 guineas. He is one of several very promising three year olds Saint Pair sold as yearlings in 2019 who also include Smile Makers, a dual winner who finished second in the Group 2 Prix Greffuhle, the unbeaten filly Waldbiene, True Courage who has won three races in Britain since mid June and Isle of White, impressive winner of a maiden at Belmont Park.
Integrant comes from the family of the Japanese Champion Admire Mars and her second dam Via Milano is one of the foundation mares of Saint Pair. This family has produce Admire Mars, the G1 performer Via Ravenna, Via Medici, Via Firenze, Via Pisa, who is the dam of the promising two year old Green Fly, and now Integrant. His dam Via Manzoni has a two year old Siyouni colt Viatore in training for Saint Pair with Jean Claude Rouget and a yearling filly by Shamardal.
