KENDARGENT came close to acheiving a two year old double at Maisons Laffitte on Friday, September 21. The second crop of two year olds by the Haras de Colleville’s son of Kendor look to be as promising as the first, which included the Group winning fillies Restiadargent and Kendam. Kenchope, a filly out of Bedford Hope, became Kendargent’s fourth two year old winner of the year with an impressive 2 1/2 length win in the Prix Ortie Blanche over 1400 metres at Maisons Laffitte and then an hour later the Kendargent colt Projetdargent came with a late run to take second place in the Prix Commandeur, the equivalent race for colts. Kendargent’s other two year olds include the filly Kensea, fourth in a high quality Listed race in Deauville in August over 1600 metres.
The Haras de Saint Pair sent two mares to Kendargent in 2012 and San Sicharia is in foal.
