PODEMOS TAKES A STEP FORWARDS
Sheikh Mohammed Al Thani’s Podemos took his second race within a month when coming from behind to win a handicap over 11 furlongs at Kempton on October 1st. The three year old son of Shamardal and Pearls or Passion now has two wins and two places from seven career starts and earnings of £15.354. The Ralph Beckett trained gelding is now rated 95 by The Racing Post.
Podemos is the first foal of the Monsun mare Pearls or Passion who was bred and raced by the Haras de Saint Pair. She was sold out of training for 600.000 guineas at the 2013 Tattersalls December sales. Pearls or Passion has a two year old Soldier Hollow filly Pelligrina in training with Andre Fabre and a yearling filly by Teofilo. Pearls Or Passion is one of three Group/Stakes performers produced to date by the Haras de Saint Pair’s Prix Vermeille winner Pearly Shells.
