SAINT PAIR ENJOYS GREAT SALE AT DEAUVILLE OCTOBER
The Haras de Saint Pair offered six yearlings at the Arqana October yearling sale on Tuesday October 18th and sold five for a total of 885.000 euros. The Saint Pair draft included two of the top prices at the sale as the Shamardal colt out of Light And Airy (photo) was sold to the Hong Kong Jockey Club for 250.000 euros while the Iffraaj filly out of Fairly Fair was the top priced filly at the sale making 250.000 euros to Mandore International.
The Kendargent colt out of Bugie d’Amore was purchased by Brendan Holland of Grove Stud for 155.000 euros, the top priced Kendargent yearling at the sale by some margin, and the Mastercraftsman colt out of Via Milano was bought by Jean Claude Rouget for 150.000 euros. Finally the Pour Moi half brother to this year’s Group 1 winner Vadamos went to Richard Brown of Blandford Bloodstock for 80.000 euros.
