VADAMOS READY FOR AUSTRALIAN TEST

The Saint Pair Bred Vadamos, owned in partnership with John Camilieri’s Fairway SAS,  will run for the first time in Australia on Saturday, October 22nd in the country’s top middle distance race the Group 1 Cox Plate at Moonee Valley. The race, which offers around 1 million euros to the winner, has attracted a top field which includes the champion mare Winx, Vadamos and six other Group 1 winners in a field of ten.

The Prix du Moulin de Longchamp winner Vadamos is the only one who has travelled across the world for the race and the son of Monsun will be racing over ten furlongs for the first time since winning a small allowance race over the trip at Chantilly last July. However the track is likely to suit him and Vadamos is currently the third favourite behind Winx and Godolphin’s Hartnell. The racetime is at 8.00am on Saturday morning French time.
