SAINT PAIR FAMILIES SHINE AT TATTERSALLS OCTOBER 2

The Haras de Saint Pair didn’t present yearlings at the Tattersalls October sales this year, but still played a major role as three of the top prices were out of mare bred by the farm and sold out of training. Lot 570, a Sea The Stars colt out of Kitcarina was the highest priced of the entire sale selling to Stroud Coleman Bloodstock for 800.000gns presented by Windmill Farm. Kitcarina a Shamardal mare was bred and raced by Saint Pair and sold as a three year old to Axel Donnerstag for 90.000€ at the Arqana December sale. She is a full sister to Kitcara, also sold by Saint Pair, who is the dam of multiple Group winning Sea The Stars Al Asay.

Lot 974 a Frankel filly out of Via Lazio presented by Fittocks Stud was sold to the BBA Ireland for 425.000gns. Via Lazio is a half sister to the Japanese Champion Admire Mars and to the Group 1 placed Saint Pair Via Pisa. The unraced daughter of Lawman was sold by Saint Pair as a two year old at the Arqana December sale for 30.000€. Finally Lot 723 a Sea The Moon colt out of Pearly Spirit, a full sister to Saint Pair’s Champion Pearls Galore was sold to Oceanic Bloodstock acting for Peter Brant for 410.000gns. Pearls Spirit was sold in foal to Vadamos at the Arqana December sale for 52.000€.
