SAINT PAIR OFFERS TEN FILLIES AND MARES IN DEAUVILLE

The Haras de Saint Pair will offer a draft of four winning fillies and six in foal mares at the Arqana December sale on Saturday, December 9th.

The mares include two daughters of one of Saint Pair’s foundation mares the Group 1 Prix Vermeille winner Pearly Shells. Three of Pearly Shells’ daughters are already confirmed as high class broodmares as Pearl Banks has produced the stakes winner Pearly Steph, Propaganda the stakes and group performer Shagah and then Pearls Or Passion’s first foal Podemos was a very promising second on his debut at Kempton in November. Pearly Empress is offered in foal to Dariyan, and the stakes performer Pearly Avenue in foal to Kendargent.

Other Group and stakes performers being offered are Bugie d’Amore in foal to Dark Angel, Nymeria in foal to Vadamos and Grand Vadla in foal to Wootton Basset. Arabian Beauty, a half sister to promising sire Rio de la Plata, is offered in foal to Kodiac.

The draft also includes four winning three year old fillies, Snirvana, Cool Esprit, Waldfee and Chiavari.

In recent years Saint Pair’s Deauville December drafts have included Via Medici, now the dam of Group and stakes performers Via Firenze and Via Pisa, Appeal, now the dam of promising Tanglewood, a Siyouni colt who made impressive winning debut in Japan, and Fairly Fair whose first foal Nuwaies was a brilliant debut winner in Bordeaux for Al Shaqab and Jean Claude Rouget.
