TRAIS FLUORS STEPS UP AGAIN
Trais Fluors maintained his unbeaten record with a comfortable 1 1/2 length victory in the 1600 metres Listed Prix de Pontmarne at Saint Cloud on May 23rd. The Andre Fabre trained colt was held up in a slowly run race but he had far too much speed for his three rivals and quickened past them in the final 200 metres to beat D’bai and Ratiocination by 1 1/2 lengths and 3/4 length with plenty in hand.
The three year old Dansili colt has now won all three of his starts and is likely to run in Group races in the future. The Haras de Saint Pair home bred is the first foal of Trois Lunes, a daughter of Manduro who won the Prix Vanteaux in the stud’s colours. Trois Lunes has a colt foal by Kendargent. Trais Fluors was offered at Tattersalls October 1 as a yearling and bought back at 120.000 guineas. He is the third Saint Pair bred three year old to win a stakes races in 2017 following Graphite and Via Ravenna.
