VADAMOS IMPRESSES AT BADEN BADEN
A temperature forced Vadamos to miss his proposed run in the Prix Jacques le Marois in Deauville in August but the son of Monsun returned to the track in the Group 2 Darley Oettingen Rennen on September 3 to confirm that he is a top class performer.
The Andre Fabre trained four year old settled comfortably in mid division before moving easily to join them at the top of the straight. When Vincent Cheminaud asked his mount for an effort the pair quickened away from their rivals in the space of a few strides and came right away to win unchallenged by 5 lengths from the English trained filly Merry Me and Diplomat.
Vadamos has now won four of his last five starts including a Listed race over 2400 and this Group 2 over 1600. Unbeaten since joining the Andre Fabre stable at the beginning of the season he will make his next start in a Group 1 race in France or England.
Vadamos is the fourth foal and third winner of his dam the Listed winning Peintre Celebre mare Celebre Vadala. She has a yearling colt by Dutch Art, a colt foal by Pour Moi and is in foal to New Approach.
