VIA PISA COLT AMONG TOP LOTS AT ARQANA AUGUST
The Haras de Saint Pair’s Kingman colt out of Via Pisa, lot 113, was among the lots at the Arqana August sale selling to Godolphin for 850.000 euros. The half brother to the promising two year old Green Fly from the family of the Japanese Champion Admire Mars attracted numerous different bidders from all over the world before being knocked down to Anthony Stroud acting for Godolphin for 850.000€, the second most expensive colt at the sale.
Saint Pair also sold lot 162, a Zoustar filly out of Dardiza to de Burgh Equine acting for John Camileri for 135.000€, by some way the most expensive of the five yearlings offered at the sale from the first Northern Hemisphere crop of the leading Australian sire. Lot 291, a son of Myboycharlie and Sub Rose was sold to the agent Paul Nataf for 57.000€, giving the stud a total of three yearlings sold for 1.042.000€.
